The Army of Shadows is where you extract, promote, and upgrade Jinwoo's shadow army.
The Army of Shadows is unlocked by clearing Normal Chapter 9 <The Birth of a New Monarch>.
The user must complete Normal Chapter 23 <Ant King> to promote their shadows for General rank.

Usage[]
The user can take 3 Shadows into a fight at a time. Upon entering a stage, they are immediately able to be used. Doing so will spawn in the Shadows, along with smaller groups that they lead. Once summon, the ability will go on cooldown and they will remain on the field for 15-20 seconds.
Using Shadows requires Shades. Shades can be obtained from a game modes like Gates and Instance Dungeons when the user plays as Sung Jinwoo.
Upgrading[]
There are 5 ways to upgrade the Army of Shadows, which usually increases the Army's Total Power (TP).
- Promotion: Increases the Army's max level and enhances the Shadow's Authority. Unlocks the ability to get the Armament once the shadow's General Rank. This does not increase the Army's TP.
- Upgrade: The triangular "Growth: Upgrade." Will raise the Shadow's stats and will increase the Army's TP.
- Skill Level Up: The TP increase will raise with each level per skill.
- Armament: Buying and upgrading the Armament will increase Army TP and the Shadow's abilities and stats.
- Army Level Up: Raises the army's level will increase their stats, and can boost the Army's TP by the thousands.
