Secret File[]

Easily created from simple lumps of material, golems were originally used as weapons of war.

Limbs and body parts could be easily replaced as long as there was enough material handy, and they obeyed orders without questions, so the golems played a large role in various bouts during the war against the Rulers.

However, they had a major weakness: a lack of critical thought. It wasn't easy to give each golem individual orders that were appropriate for the rapidly changing situations.

They could be caught easily by diversionary tactics. Even if they managed to receive modified orders from their commanders, they were often destroyed before they could properly carry them out.

When the Monarch of Transfiguration, the King of Demonic Spectres, saw how this weakness affected his operations, he created Golem Units to establish a more efficient chain of command.

The unit leaders were created by extracting the souls of allies and transferring them into specially made golems. The leaders would then inject their souls little by little into their subordinates, allowing them to move them as if they were parts of their body.

With just a few commands, the entire unit could be moved instantly.

Kandiaru, the second-in-command in the Army of Transfiguration, delivered the Golem Units to each commander. The Army of Transfiguration began to use the Golem Units to gain an advantageous position in war.

Since overwhelming resources were needed to counter the instruments of the God of the Rulers, the Golem Units became just as necessary as the Monarch of Shadow's Army in the struggle.
