Core Set

Workshop of Brilliant Light Normal and Hard Baran Main Rewards

Cores are powerful items that can be equipped on both Sung Jinwoo and Hunters. There are three types of cores: Mind, Body, and Spirit. Cores are obtained from the Workshop of Brilliant Light, and each fight and difficulty determines which Core you can receive.

Core Rarities[]

Each Core comes in three rarities—Rare, Heroic, and Legendary—that further enhance its power.

Obtaining[]

Users can obtain cores from the Workshop of Brilliant Light. Every main fight will give the user at least 2 cores after successfully defeating the enemy. The amount of cores received per fight may increase as the difficulty of the dungeon does.

Core Stats[]

Each core has 2 stats. The first stat depends on the type of core while the second one is randomly selected.

  • If the core is a Mind type, the first stat will either be Attack or Attack (%).
  • If the core is a Body type, the first stat will either be Defense or Defense (%).
  • If the core is a Spirit type, the first stat will either be HP or HP (%).

The second stat for any core can be one of the following: Critical Hit Damage, Critical Hit Rate, Damage Increase, Defense Penetration, Damage Reduction, Additional MP, MP Consumption Reduction, MP Rate Recovery Increase (%).

Each Core has a Stat Enhancement Level, which is the numerical average of the ratios of the two stats. This can be raised by enhancing the Core.

Core Passive[]

Each type of Core will have a unique passive that has a random activation condition. The activation condition must be fulfilled in order for the passive to be in effect.

The following conditions are:

  • Activates when a [Water] hunter equips it
  • Activates when a [Wind] hunter equips it
  • Activates when a [Fire] hunter equips it
  • Activates when a [Light] hunter equips it
  • Activates when a [Dark] hunter equips it
  • Activates when Sung Jinwoo equips it

Core Passive

Hunger of the Crimson Apex
Increases Attack by 4-5-6% when MP is 50% or below.
Eyes of the Watcher
Increases the Critical Hit damage of Core Attacks by 6-12-20%.
Nameless Demon's Deception
When the user uses their Ultimate Skill, it increases the Critical Hit Damage of their Basic Skill by 6-12-20% for 8 second(s).
Ancient Wraith's Obession
Increases the user's Attack by 2-3-5%.


Body Cores[]

Core Passive

Desires of the Crimson Apex
Increases Defense by 4-5-6% when MP is 50% or below.
Limbs of the Watcher
Increases Defense by 4-5-6% at 70% or fewer HP.
Nameless Demon's Horn
When the user uses their Ultimate Skill, it grants a Shield equal to 3-6-10% by of their Max HP for 8 second(s).
Ancient Wraith's Right Hand
When the user is hit, their damage reduction increases by 3-6-10% for 10 second(s). (Cooldown: 25 second(s))


Spirit Cores[]

Core Passive
(Rare-Heroic-Legendary)
Punishment of the Crimson Apex
When the user has 20% of their MP or less they recover MP equal to 20-25-30% of their maximum MP. This effect activates only once during combat.
Teeth of the Watcher
Decreases MP Recovery Rate by 10% and MP Consumption of Basic Skills by 6-9-12%.
Nameless Demon's Magisphere
When the user uses their Ultimate Skill, it grants recovers MP equal to 2-3-5% by of their Max MP. (Cooldown: 20 second(s))
Ancient Wraith's Mana Power
When the user's Basic Attack hits 3 time(s), it restores 1-2-3% of their Power Gauge. (Cooldown: 10 second(s))

Enhancement[]

Cores are upgraded in two ways.

Core Level Up Menu

Core Level Up Menu

The first way to upgrade a core is by leveling it up. Cores need XP to level up, which can obtained from by sacrificing other cores or by using Core Aethers. Core Aether I gives 10 XP and Core Aether II gives 50 XP. The higher the rarity of the Core the more XP it gives when sacrificed and the more XP it needs to level up. Each time a core is leveled up, it'll increase each stat by a random amount which depends on the rarity of the Core. Sacrificing Cores that have been leveled up will increase the amount of XP they give. When leveling up Cores, you can only select up to 20 Cores at a time.

At level 1:
Rare Cores give 50 XP, Heroic Cores give 65 XP, and Legendary Cores give 80 XP.
At level 10:
Rare Cores give 280 XP, Heroic Cores give 550 XP, and Legendary Cores give 780 XP.

After the Core reaches level 10, the user can only use Solidified Stones to enhance the core, which goes until it reaches a Stat Enhancement Level of 100%. Each time it's enhanced, it'll randomly increase one stat by a random amount.

Limit Break[]

Upon reaching level 10 and max Core Stat Enhancement, the user is able to limit break their core using Condensed Energy, which are obtained from Deimos's Workshop of Brilliant Light, allowing the core's maximum level to increase from 10 to 15. After limit breaking the core, the level up and enhancement process repeats.
