Secret File[]
It's forbidden for one monarch's creations to tame another's.
So it might seem strange that Baran would ride the wyvern Kaisellin in seeming defiance of this natural law. But knowing the conflict between the monarchs, no one would dare question him.
The King of Berserk Dragons, the Monarch of Destruction, was the strongest of the monarchs and he had ambitions to rise above the others.
Since it was the nature of the monarchs to destroy and conquer, some thought it was only natural for him to take charge.
But others found it unacceptable to bow before a conqueror without fighting back.
So the Monarch of White Flames, the Monarch of the Beginning, and the Monarch of Fangs joined forces to resist the armies of berserk dragons as they rebelled against the Monarch of Destruction.
They failed, and ended up kneeling before the Monarch of Destruction's might.
The Monarch of Destruction began to use their creations as servants.
The Monarch of the Beginning's giants were forced to stand at the forefront of every battlefield, and the Monarch of Fangs was forced to offer up more than half of the troops that went into battle.
The Monarch of Destruction even sent one of his most trusted dragons to watch the Monarch of White Flames.
To an outsider, the sharing of soldiers might have seemed like an act of goodwill: the Monarchs reuniting as they had when they defeated the Fragments of Brilliant Light and conquered the world. But in truth, it was the Monarch of Destruction diving his enemy's forces to cut off the bud of rebellion before it could bloom again.
The Monarch of White Flames knew this.
He refused to watch his subordinates fall helplessly into the hands of the Monarch of Destruction.
Since it was the nature of the monarchs to destroy and conquer, some thought it was only natural for him to take charge.
It worked... for a while.
At least until the Monarch of Destruction felt threatened by the Monarch of Shadows' strange powers.
