Secret File[]
The Monarch of Destruction's Light Dragons were entities with peerless power.
No soldier could stand up to them. When the Light Dragons entered the fray, their victory was guaranteed.
No matter who described the Light Dragons, they never failed to call them "The Creator's most perfectly sculpted creation."
The Light Dragons were well aware of what they were called, but they didn't think much of it.
Even the Denizens of Chaos, who prided themselves for their strength were looked down upon by the Light Dragons, for they had experienced loss. The Light Dragons never had.
It didn't matter who they fought. The Denizens of Chaos conspiring against them the opposing Celestial Denizens...
It didn't matter if there was a difference in power, a disadvantageous situation, poor environmental conditions... these were all excuses.
For a Light Dragon never spoke of the imperfect Thunder Dragon, and acted as though it didn't exist.
Loss came so frequently, it now felt natural to the Thunder dragon. It retreated to the desert. It resented itself for being born as an 'imperfect creature.'
Had the Creator made a mistake?
Was it even supposed to be a Light Dragon?
If so, why hadn't it been endowed with the same power as the others?
What was it lacking...?
With scars that weren't mending, the Thunder Dragon lost its will to get back up and fell into deep despair.
It thought that rather than face yet another day of loss, it might be better to end it all.
Just then, something emerged from the Thunder Dragon's shadow.
The unidentifiable thing was like the void itself, only it had a mouth and eyes.
"I can give you what you covet. But the gifts must be reciprocated. What will you give me?"
After some consideration, the Thunder Dragon handed over an emotion irrelevant to becoming stronger.
The entity gracefully accepted the emotion and shared its power with the Thunder Dragon as promised.
Now far stronger than before, the Thunder Dragon began to claim victories on the battlefield.
The Light dragons were taken aback. Though they once looked down on the Thunder Dragon, they began to shower it with praise.
"Victory is even more thrilling than I could have ever imagined."
The Thunder Dragon was intoxicated by this new emotion, and soon craved more victories.
But the little power it received from the entity wasn't enough to claim victory in every battle.
So the Thunder Dragon returned to the entity and handed over another emotion.
The Thunder Dragon once again grew in power.
By the time it relinquished its final emotion, to the entity, it no longer found joy in the victorious, but it didn't matter.
A Light Dragon that is not victorious is worthless.
Therefore, it would use its ill-begotten power to destroy all enemies and to keep those that resisted under its feet.
Intoxicated by power, the Thunder Dragon did not recognize that the entity had become its reflection, and flew into battle.
Having taken on the the shape of the Thunder Dragon, the entity disappeared into the darkness, never to be seen again.
