The Orb of Avarice is an SR rank Player Weapon in Solo Leveling: ARISE. This orb contains the first flame that burned in hell. The nature of its infinite possibility was altered as it passed through the hands of one greedy person after another.

Secret File[]
The First Flame bloomed in the Land of Demons, which was filled with darkness. The demons were very happy and took this flame to the Monarch of White Flames.
Soon, the First Flame spread throughout the land of demons.
The demons no longer had to shiver form the cold, and could live under bright light like the other races.
The First Flame contained infinite possibilities and it became the demons' sun, weapon, and holy relic.
However, like all demons with an innate thirst for power, attempts to use the First Flame for personal purposes began.
The first demon to try to steal the First Flame and use it for personal use was the head of Herschel family, an originally insignificant family which eventually rose to seventh place in the power rankings.
As he wielded the First Flame to eliminate his political rivals, the head of the Herschel family ended up dropping part of the flame, which caused the fire to spread across the land of demons.
His hubris led the land of demons to be forever engulfed in the an inextinguishable flame, but the Monarch of White Flames didn't punish the head of the Herschel family.
As power was the law of the land... The head of the Herschel family's ultimate victory proved that he'd made the right decision.
The greedy demons, seeing the success of a family, began to reach out to the First Flame.
The flame, once a beautiful red, gradually lost its color as it fell into the hands of the greedy demons.
And only when it finally lost its original color that it was returned to the Monarch of White Flames.
It's natural to desire power.
So the monarch couldn't punish the demons who corrupted the flame.
However, if the flame is preserved in an orb made from the horns of the defeated, extinction can be prevented.
After much deliberation, the Monarch of White Flames created the Orb of Avarice and secretly entrusted it to a demon to prevent it from being misused again.
